Kickstarter - Charlie Mars Would Luv To Make A New Record

Dear friends and strangers and loved ones and fans,

I have been writing words in my life notebook and scratching out lines and finding better ones and calling them songs that I love like little children. I’ve driven around in vans and buses and flown on large airplanes all over playing my other songs so much that I’m ready for a new flavor from the candy store.

Here’s where you come in: I’m doing this here Kickstarter campaign to get my newest album going and going and going. We’ve (me and my organized friend Parker who helps me focus) come up with some ideas that we think will be a fun carnival of possibilities and you can do whatever you like.

Making records that sound good takes time… And in the music business, time is money. Working with talented people is also pretty darned expensive. I’m extending my hand and I hope you take it and pick a donation that you can swing and we’ll swing you everything from a CD in the mail to a dinner with yours truly to a concert at your house to your name in a song on the new album.

I will love you forever and be eternally thankful to you for giving of your hard earned donations…and I promise you that above alllll else….I will work harder than I’ve ever worked in my short little life to make an album that is true blue.
